What is the difference between PowerCast Opaque Burn and Dark castable resins?

Which resins can I use for rubber mold?

You can use RTV resin for rubber mold. But most important thing when you are purchasing resin for rubber mold is do you need for DLP or SLA machine. That’s the most important question. After you decide it’s DLP or SLA, you can order RTV resin from our website. VIEW THE ITEM

Which resins can I use for direct casting?

You can use Powercast Burn, Opaque Burn or Dark resin for DLP technology machines. They all have different features. If you have SLA technology machines, then you should use Form resin. So you should purchase depends on your 3d printer model. VIEW THE ITEM

Which investment I should use for better casting result?

All investments are good for casting but you have to follow instructions. Because investment is not the only thing you should check. There are so many elements you should be careful about.

What is the burnout cycle for your resins?

We usually suggest you to use your usual burnout cycle. But if you still have any issue with casting then but if you still have any issue with casting then you can contact us to get our suggested castable resin burnout cycle.

Which resin is the best for LCD printers?

We can suggest you Burn and Opaque Burn resin for LCD printers. You can use our Burn and Opaque Burn resin for both DLP and LCD printers. They are both compatible with LCD printers.

Which conditions do I need to keep my resin stock?

We usually suggest room temperature and avoid to sunlight. The bottles of the resins are actually specially designed to protect the resin. But still, it’s better to avoid sun. And while you are not using, you should close the bottle, so any dust cannot enter to bottle.

How can I avoid shrinkage?

After the print in cleaning process, you shouldn’t keep the models inside of the alcohol so long. And you should keep it away from the light. Our suggestion is if you will not cast your models right away, you should keep them inside of some bag or box and keep it in drawer. So any light cannot reach the models.

Can we compensate shrinkage in the CAD?

You can arrange the model size in Rhino and Matrix. You can resize the model. Depends of casting time and resin you can arrange the value of resizing. You can even resize it while you are arranging your models on the platform. So after this when your models shrink, it will be the size you wanted.

When preparing the 3d model, should we print the sprues as well or should we use wax sprues?

We suggest our customers to put sprues before print while you are supporting the model. Because if you add wax sprue later you will spend your time. But if you put sprue during supporting, you will save time. You can check our videos about this topic in Youtube.
